Why I’m Running

I am running because I want to use my organizational and leadership skills to strengthen the RNC and the Republican Party. Serving as President of the Texas Federation of Republican Women provided me with opportunities and experiences that no other candidate in this race has.

During my term, I successfully managed the largest women’s political organization in the state and the largest federation in the country. We were the driving force behind the Texas Republican Voter Engagement Project program which registered 169,000+ voters during the 2022 election cycle. Our 34th Biennial convention in October 2023, raised over $500,000 and netted $186,000 which is more than previous conventions.

Politics, like everything else in life is about relationships. As TFRW President, I travelled the state visiting clubs from North Texas to South Texas to East Texas to West Texas and everywhere in between. I built relationships not only with TFRW women but also with county chairs, elected officials, donors, and Young Republicans. Having built these relationships, I will be able to accurately communicate the Texas perspective to the RNC.

I was fortunate to attend 4 RNC meetings during my term and recently attended the 2024 Winter Meeting in Vegas. Through attending and serving once as a proxy I built relationships and trust with many current members that will prove to be beneficial in my service to Texas. I am well aware there are issues that need to be addressed and am committed to working out solutions that will benefit our party going forward.

Finally, I was honored and humbled at the recent NFRW convention to receive the organization’s prestigious Ronald Reagan award which is presented to one state president for outstanding leadership.

An effective National Committeewoman must motivate and encourage others. She must be a good listener, must know how to diffuse conflict and be willing to listen to new ideas. From founding my own local TFRW club to serving as precinct chair and Dallas County GOP Secretary; from serving on my Senate District Convention Committee to serving TFRW as the 2017 Convention Chair; and from serving TFRW as First Vice President and then President; I have had the opportunity to hone these skills and so much more.

Working with all branches of the Republican Party from the grassroots to the national leadership, I have seen how critical it is for all of us to work together to effect change. Throughout my political journey, I have encouraged Republicans to focus on our mission of electing our Republican nominees through the power of positive politics - politics that focuses on policy not personalities, and unity not uniformity.

The expression “As Texas goes, so goes the nation” is not just an expression. We are the last line of defense, the beacon of hope, and our country is counting on Texas Republicans to remove Biden from the White House, increase our majority in House and take back the Senate.

I love working with grassroots and am energized when serving and building teams to accomplish our most important missions. I know the programs that work and how to implement them for maximum success. I commit to you that I will give my heart and soul to this position and serve you with the same dedication and integrity that I have in my previous positions.
